



Before starting pilates, clients must undergo an assessment to highlight their problem areas, and can then choose to continue with individual sessions or join a class. Should the choice be to continue with individual sessions, clients will get the benefit of focussed attention and use of the reformer, a machine designed to assist as well challenge.
Should the choice be to join a class, depending on their level of competence, clients must complete between 2 and 4 individual sessions before starting a class. If clients have done pilates before or have financial constraints, this can be negotiated.
Classes are limited to 8 people and are mat-based, but often incorporate different types of equipment such as balls, rollers and bands.
